श्री हरि स्तोत्रम
नभो - नीलकायम् दुरावारमायम् ,सुपद्मा सहायं भजेहं भजेहं || 1 ||
(जो समस्त जगत के रक्षक हैं, जो गले में चमकता हार पहनते हुए हैं,जिनका मस्तक शरद ऋतु में चमकते चन्द्रमा की तरह है और जो महादैत्यों के काल हैं | आकाश के समान जिनका रंग नीला है, जो अजय मायावी शक्तिों के स्वामी हैं, देवी लक्ष्मी जिनकी साथी हैं उन भगवान विष्णु को मै बारम्बार भजता हूँ | )
सदाम्भोधिवासं गलत्पुष्हासं जगत्सन्निवासं शतादित्यभासम् |
गदाचक्रशस्त्रं लसत्पीत - वस्त्रं हसच्चारु - वक्रं भजेहं भजेहं || 2 ||
( जो सदा समुद्र में वास करते हैं, जिनकी मुस्कान खिले हुए पुष्प की भाति है, जिनका वास पुरे जगत में है,जो सौ सूर्यो के समान प्रतीत होते है | जो गदा,चक्र और शस्त्र अपने हाथ में धारण करते हैं, जो पीले वस्त्रों में सुशोभित हैं, जिनके सुन्दर चेहरे पर प्यारी मुस्कान हैं, उन भगवान विष्णु को मै बारम्बार भजता हूँ | )
रमाकण्ठहारं श्रुतिवातसारं जलान्तविेहारं धराभारहारम् |
चिदानन्दरूपं मनोज्ञस्वरूपं धृतानेकरूपं भजेहं भजेहं || 3 ||
(जिनके गले के हार में देवी लक्ष्मी का चिह्न बना हुआ है, जो वेद वाणी के सार हैं, जो जल में विहार करते है और पृथ्वी के भार को धारण करते हैं | जिनका सदा आनंदमय रूप रहता है और मन को आकर्षित करता है,जिन्होंने अनेकों रूप धारण किये हैं,उन भगवान विष्णु को मै बारम्बार भजता हूँ | )
जराजन्महीनम् परानन्द पीनम् समाधान लीनं सदैवानवीनम् |
जगज्जन्म हेतुं सुरानीककेतुम् त्रिलोकैकसेतुं भजेहं भजेहं || 4 ||
(जो जन्म और मृत्यु से मुक्त हैं, जो जो परमानन्द से भरे हुए हैं, जिनका मन हमेशा स्थिर और शांत रहता हैं, जो हमेशा नूतन प्रतीत होते है | जो इस जगत के जन्म के कारक हैं | जो देवताओं की सेना के रक्षक हैं | और जो तीनों लोकों के बीच सेतु हैं,उन भगवान विष्णु को मै बारम्बार भजता हूँ | )
कृताम्नाय गानम् खगाधीशयानं विमुक्तेनिदानं हरारातिमानम् |
स्वभक्तानुकूलम् जगद्दृक्षमूलम् निरस्तार्तशूलम् भजेहं भजेहं || 5 ||
जो वेदों के गायक हैं, पक्षीराज गरुड़ की जो सवारी करते हैं, जो मुक्तिदाता हैं और शत्रुओं का जो मान हारते हैं | जो भक्तों के प्रिय हैं, जो जगत रूपी वृक्ष की जड़ हैं | जो सभी दुखों को निरस्त कर देते हैं,उन भगवान विष्णु को मै बारम्बार भजता हूँ | )
समस्तामरेशम् द्विरेफाभ केशं जगद्विम्बलेशम् ह्रदाकाशदेशम् |
सदा दिव्यदेहं विमुक्ताखिलेहम् सुवैकुण्ठगेहं भजेहं भजेहं || 6 ||
(जो सभी देवताओं के स्वामी हैं, काली मधुमक्खी के समान जिनके केश का रंग हैं, पृथ्वी जिनके शरीर का हिस्सा हैं और जिनका शरीर आकाश के समान स्पष्ट है | जिनका शरीर सदा दिव्य है, जो संसार के बंधनों से मुक्त हैं, बैकुण्ठ जिनका निवास है, उन भगवान विष्णु को मै बारम्बार भजता हूँ | )
सुराली - बलिष्ठं त्रिलोकीवलिष्ठं गुरुणां गरिष्ठं स्वरुपैकनिष्ठम् |
सदा युद्धधीरं महावीर वीरम् महाम्भोधि तीरम् भजेहं भजेहं || 7 ||
(जो देवताओं में सबसे बलशाली हैं, त्रिलोकों में सबसे श्रेष्ठ हैं, जिनका एक ही स्वरुप हैं, जो युद्ध में सदा विजय हैं, जो वीरों में वीर हैं, जो सागर के किनारे पर वास करते हैं,उन भगवान विष्णु को मै बारम्बार भजता हूँ | )
रमावामभागम् तलनग्ननागम् कृताधीनयागम् गतारागरारागम् |
मुनीन्द्रैः सुगीतं सुरैः संपरीतं गुणैगैरतीतं भजेहं भजेहं || 8 ||
(जिनके बाएं भाग में लक्ष्मी विराजित होती हैं, जो शेषनाग पर विराजित हैं, जो ज्ञों से प्राप्त किये जा सकते हैं और जो राग- रंग से मुक्त हैं, ऋषि - मुनि जिनके गीत गाते हैं, देवता जिनकी सेवा करते हैं और जो गुणों से परे हैं,उन भगवान विष्णु को मै बारम्बार भजता हूँ | )
फलश्रुति
इदम् यस्तु नित्यं समाधाय चित्तम् पठेदष्टकम् कष्टहारं मुरारेः |
स विष्णोविशोकं ध्रुवम् याति लोकम् जराजन्म शोकं पुनविदन्ते नो ||
( भगवान हरि का यह अष्टक जो कि मुरारी के कंठ की माला के समान है,जो भी इसे सच्चे मन से पढ़ता है वह वैकुण्ठ लोक को प्राप्त होता है | वह दुख, शोक, जन्म - मरण से मुक्त हो जाता है इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं है | )
